Reginald Fleurima
2024 Intern
Reginald Fleurima is a student-athlete at Northwestern University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Education and Social Policy with a major in Learning and Organizational Change. Fleurima balances his academic pursuits with a strong commitment to Northwestern's football program, and he is scheduled to graduate in 2025.
Fleurima has demonstrated exceptional time management skills during his time at Northwestern, dedicating over 20 hours weekly to athletic commitments while maintaining his academic focus. His ability to foster strong relationships with teammates, coaches and support staff highlights his teamwork and leadership capabilities. Fleurima’s commitment to personal and professional growth is evident through his participation in the Northwestern University for Life Kabiller Award program, a selective professional development opportunity for junior student-athletes. Fleurima is also an active member of the Northwestern University Black Student Athlete Alliance.
Fleurima’s internship at Langdon Park Capital allowed him to gain valuable experience in commercial real estate, data analytics and marketing strategy.
Fleurima is poised for success in his future endeavors thanks to his diverse academic, athletic and professional experiences.
Gavin Hightower
2023 Intern
Gavin Hightower is a standout scholar-athlete at Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, CA. Hightower has distinguished himself as a leader among his peers, contributing his organizational skills as an event planner for his school’s Black Student Union and serving as team captain for Windward’s varsity basketball team.
During his internship at Langdon Park Capital, Hightower worked with the company’s Operations Manager and asset management teams to produce a comprehensive market research report on the company’s workforce housing.
Outside of his aspirations of a career in commercial real estate, Hightower is also a top professional basketball prospect. He is ranked as one of the top 100 high school basketball players in the US, earning Most Valuable Player honors for his school’s league as well as all-CIF honors during the 2023-24 season.
Hightower will attend Iona College on a full athletic scholarship and pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration. Hightower resides in South Los Angeles, and beyond his academic and extracurricular commitments, he devotes his spare time to local grassroots organizations.
Luke Johnson
2023 Intern
Luke Johnson attends Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, NH, where he is also a point guard on the school’s nationally ranked prep basketball team. Johnson has earned Dean’s List honors throughout high school, while also being a leader on the basketball court. Johnson is also a budding entrepreneur as he owns an online apparel resale company and several healthy vending machines located in Southern California.
During his internship at Langdon Park Capital, Johnson worked with the company’s Operations Manager and asset management teams to produce a comprehensive market research report on the company’s workforce housing portfolio.
After graduating from Brewster Academy in 2025, Johnson will pursue a degree in Business Administration at a major university, and he will play basketball in college as well.
Hudson Mayes
2023 Intern
Hudson Mayes is a well-rounded student athlete. He attends Redondo Union High School in Redondo Beach, CA, where he has earned All-Academic awards and maintains Honor Roll status. As a basketball player, Mayes earned all-CIF honors during the 2023-24 season. His interests outside of his passion for basketball include the culinary arts, real estate and argumentative writing.
During his internship at Langdon Park Capital, Mayes worked with the company’s Operations Manager and asset management teams to produce a comprehensive market research report on the company’s workforce housing.
Mayes plans to extend his knowledge of commercial real estate while he pursues a career as a professional basketball player.
Mayes will attend Central Michigan University, where he will major in Business Administration while also competing on the basketball team. Mayes volunteers with several community service organizations with a focus on serving Black communities and supporting Los Angeles residents experiencing homelessness.
Jalyn Mosley
2023 Intern
Jalyn Mosley completed her undergraduate studies in 2023, and she is currently working as a Sales Representative for RR Donnelly, a global provider of marketing materials for Fortune 100 companies across 28 countries.
Mosley brought a unique skill set to her internship at Langdon Park Capital, with responsibilities spanning between financial analysis, market research and providing support to the firm’s asset management team.
Mosley earned a Bachelor of Arts in Entrepreneurial Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Recreation Management from the University of Iowa, where she also earned four letters as a member of the school’s varsity soccer team, which twice won Big Ten Conference titles.
Kaya Johnson
2022 Intern
Kaya Johnson is a standout student-athlete at the University of Pennsylvania, and she expects to graduate in 2025. She is a member of the prestigious Vagelos Scholar Program, where she is pursuing undergraduate degrees in biochemistry and neurobiology. In addition to her rigorous STEM-related course load, Johnson is a valued member of Penn’s varsity volleyball team. She also serves as Academic Chair of Black Student Athletes at Penn, a student-led organization of Black student-athletes who advocate for positive change within Penn Athletics, the Ivy League and the Philadelphia community at large.
During her internship at Langdon Park Capital, Johnson helped establish and maintain the company’s social media profile, and she also provided support for the firm’s marketing team and third party property management partners.
After earning her undergraduate degree, Johnson plans to attend medical school to become a neurosurgeon.
Malcolm Smith
2022 Intern
Malcolm Smith is founder and Principal of Amina Grace Company, a search fund that seeks outsized investment returns by acquiring controlling interests in middle market businesses, helping them scale with strategic support and growth capital.
At Langdon Park Capital, Smith supported the firm’s principals and interned with the asset management team.
Prior to joining Langdon Park Capital, Smith co-founded and led the Smith Bros PLAY Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting youth education and athletics. Before embarking on his business career, Smith enjoyed a distinguished playing career in the National Football League. Among his numerous on-field achievements, Smith was a key member of the Seattle Seahawks 2014 world championship team. Smith finished the 2013-2014 NFL season by earning Most Valuable Player honors in Super Bowl XLVIII. In addition to winning the sport’s penultimate team and individual awards during his tenure with the Seahawks, Smith also played for the Oakland Raiders, San Francisco 49ers and the Cleveland Browns.
Smith is currently pursuing an MBA at The Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Southern California.
Paige McKindra
2021 Intern
Paige McKindra is currently working as an Associate Product Manager at Google, where she spearheads initiatives spanning engineering, design and marketing to drive impactful project launches.
McKindra previously gained valuable experience as an intern at Langdon Park Capital, where she researched investment funds and analyzed the potential implications of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (H.R. 3684) for the company’s future strategies and partnerships. Her contributions extended beyond research, as she actively participated in external meetings with non-profit organizations, exploring possibilities for collaboration.
Paige earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago.
