Veronica Valerio
2025

Valerio is currently pursuing her MBA at University of California Los Angeles Anderson School of Management, with a concentration in real estate and social impact. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Health Policy from University of California Irvine and a master’s degree in Global Health Policy from Northwestern University. 

Valerio brings experience in healthcare marketing, where she led campaign strategy and execution for major hospitals and pharmaceutical companies. Valerio also spent several years as a Class A PGA Professional and LPGA member.  

At Anderson, Valerio is involved with the Anderson Real Estate Association, and serves as President of the John Anderson Golf Club and VP of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion for the Anderson Student Association.

Valerio’s long-term goal is to make a meaningful impact by expanding access to high-quality affordable housing.

Reginald Fleurima
2024

Reginald Fleurima’s internship at Langdon Park Capital allowed him to gain valuable experience in commercial real estate, data analytics and marketing strategy.

Fleurima earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and Social Policy with a major in Learning and Organizational Change at Northwestern University in 2025, while also competing on the football team as a wide receiver. His commitment to personal and professional growth was evident through his participation in the Northwestern University for Life Kabiller Award program, a selective professional development opportunity for junior student-athletes. Fleurima was also an active member of the Northwestern University Black Student Athlete Alliance.

Fleurima is currently completing his graduate studies at Slippery Rock University, while serving as a member of the football team and pursuing his immediate professional goal of playing in the National Football League.

Gavin Hightower
2023 — 2024

Gavin Hightower was a standout scholar-athlete at Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, CA.

During his internship at Langdon Park Capital, Hightower helped produce a comprehensive market research report on the company’s workforce housing portfolio. 

Outside of his aspirations of a career in commercial real estate, Hightower is also a top professional basketball prospect. He was ranked as one of the top 100 high school basketball players in the US, earning Most Valuable Player honors for his school’s league as well as all-CIF honors during the 2023-24 and 2024-25 season.

Hightower will attend the University of South Florida and pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration while also competing on the basketball team.

Luke Johnson
2023 — 2024

Luke Johnson attended Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, NH, where he was also a point guard on the school’s nationally ranked prep basketball team. Johnson earned Dean’s List honors throughout high school, while also being a leader on the basketball court. Johnson also owns an online apparel resale company and a vending machine business.

During his internship at Langdon Park Capital, Johnson helped produce a comprehensive market research report on the company’s workforce housing portfolio. 

Johnson will attend the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he will pursue a degree in Business Administration while also competing on the football team.

Hudson Mayes
2023 — 2024

Hudson Mayes is a well-rounded student athlete. He attended Redondo Union High School in Redondo Beach, CA, where he earned All-Academic awards and maintained Honor Roll status. As a basketball player, Mayes earned all-CIF honors during the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons. His interests outside of his passion for basketball include the culinary arts, real estate and argumentative writing. 

During his internship at Langdon Park Capital, Mayes helped produce a comprehensive market research report on the company’s workforce housing portfolio. 

Mayes will attend the University of California San Diego on a full athletic scholarship, and he will major in Business Administration while also competing on the basketball team.

Jalyn Mosley
2023

Jalyn Mosley completed her undergraduate studies in 2023, and she is currently working as a Sales Representative for RR Donnelly, a global provider of marketing materials for Fortune 100 companies across 28 countries. 

Mosley brought a unique skill set to her internship at Langdon Park Capital, with responsibilities spanning between financial analysis, market research and providing support to the firm’s asset management team. 

Mosley earned a Bachelor of Arts in Entrepreneurial Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Recreation Management from the University of Iowa, where she also earned four letters as a member of the school’s varsity soccer team, which twice won Big Ten Conference titles. 

Kaya Johnson
2022 — 2024

Kaya Johnson completed her undergraduate studies in 2025. She is currently preparing to join the Peace Corps Volunteers, where she will work as a health educator in Guinea assisting physicians and medical professionals in teaching local residents about reproductive health and childcare.

During her internship at Langdon Park Capital, Johnson helped establish and maintain the company’s social media profile, and she also provided support for the firm’s marketing team and third-party property management partners.

Johnson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Biology with a concentration in Neurobiology from the University of Pennsylvania. Johnson was a standout scholar-athlete at Penn, where she was member of the Vagelos Scholar Program, earned four letters on the varsity volleyball team and served as Academic Chair of Black Student Athletes at Penn. Following her time in the Peace Corps, Johnson plans to attend medical school to become a neurosurgeon.

Malcolm Smith
2022

Malcolm Smith is founder and Principal of Amina Grace Company, a search fund that seeks outsized investment returns by acquiring controlling interests in middle market businesses, helping them scale with strategic support and growth capital.

At Langdon Park Capital, Smith supported the firm’s principals and interned with the asset management team.

Prior to joining Langdon Park Capital, Smith co-founded and led the Smith Bros PLAY Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting youth education and athletics. Before embarking on his business career, Smith enjoyed a distinguished playing career in the National Football League. Smith was a key member of the Seattle Seahawks 2014 world championship team, and finished the 2013-2014 NFL season by earning Most Valuable Player honors in Super Bowl XLVIII. In addition to winning the sport’s penultimate team and individual awards during his tenure with the Seahawks, Smith also played for the Oakland Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars and Cleveland Browns during his distinguished 11-year career.

Smith earned an MBA at The Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Southern California.

Paige McKindra
2021

Paige McKindra is currently working as an Associate Product Manager at Google, where she spearheads initiatives spanning engineering, design and marketing to drive impactful project launches. 

McKindra previously gained valuable experience as an intern at Langdon Park Capital, where she researched investment funds and analyzed the potential implications of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (H.R. 3684) for the company’s future strategies and partnerships. Her contributions extended beyond research, as she actively participated in external meetings with non-profit organizations, exploring possibilities for collaboration. 

Paige earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago.
